Hi, we’re Ali and Chloe, the founders of Barney and Paws. This business is built from our shared love for dogs and our desire to create something special for fellow pet owners.

For most of my life, I (Ali) worked as a builder. But after multiple surgeries on my ankles, I faced an unexpected challenges —I could no longer continue in a physical trade. It was a tough transition, but I knew I needed to find something new, something that would allow me to stay passionate and make a difference.

That’s when Chloe and I came up with the idea for Barney and Paws, inspired by our miniature Dachshund, Barney. Watching him grow and thrive in our lives, we realized just how much joy dogs bring to us and how deeply they shape our world. They’re not just pets; they’re family. And through this brand, we wanted to create something that would make both dogs and their owners happy —something that combined our love for dogs and our desire to keep them safe and stylish.

Starting something new after years in a hands-on profession was a big leap, but our passion for animals and the lessons we’ve learned from our own Barney pushed us forward. We’re driven by a simple idea: to offer high-quality, fashionable, and safe dog accessories that both you and your dogs will love.
